"Been training for Kona qualifiers for three years and RYDN has completely replaced my old setup. I just want to get on the bike, hit my power targets, and get off, no loading screens, no gamification, no nonsense. At €7 a month it's practically free..."

"My club switched to RYDN for winter base training and we haven't looked back. The .zwo import is seamless, and seeing the actual gradient while riding makes pacing so much more intuitive. The coastal route is my go-to for long Z2 sessions, genuinely enjoyable."

Cat. 3 Road Cyclist & Club Racer

"I ride maybe three times a week after the kids go to bed. I just wanted something simple that didn't break the bank. RYDN is exactly that, plug in, pick a route, go. The city circuit at night actually looks amazing. My wife even tried it and she's not really a cyclist."

Common questions.

Which trainers are supported?
+
Any smart trainer that connects over Bluetooth, like Wahoo, Tacx, Elite, Saris, and most modern trainers. If it appears on your phone's Bluetooth list, RYDN connects to it.
Does the Zwift Cog work with RYDN?
+
Yes, the Zwift Cog works with RYDN via virtual gearing. Because the Cog itself doesn't shift physically, gear changes are handled inside RYDN's interface rather than on the hardware. Everything else, including resistance, power data, ERG and Freeride modes, works as expected.
What workout file formats are supported?
+
RYDN auto-converts uploaded workout files on import, including .zwo and structured interval text files. The intensity profile is shown immediately so you can verify it parsed correctly.
Is there a contract?
+
No contracts. Cancel any time, and you keep access until the end of your billing period. All payments come with a 14-day refund guarantee.
How do the routes work?
+
Routes are 3D environments with real terrain gradient profiles. Your power output drives your speed, and as you push harder the scenery moves faster. Full video routes are on the roadmap.
What is ERG mode?
+
ERG mode locks your trainer to a specific watt target, regardless of how fast or slow you pedal, and the resistance automatically adjusts so you hit exactly the power your workout demands. No gear shifting required; just spin and the trainer does the rest. Ideal for structured training where you want to follow a precise plan without thinking about gearing.
What is Freeride mode?
+
In Freeride mode the trainer simulates real terrain, increasing resistance on climbs and easing off on descents, just like riding outside. No power target; you decide how hard to push. Your speed through the scene is determined by the watts you actually produce. Great for recovery rides, exploring a route, or just riding by feel.
What devices and operating systems does RYDN run on?
+
RYDN runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux. It's a desktop app, no mobile version yet. A modern Bluetooth adapter is required to connect your trainer and heart rate sensor.
Is RYDN finished?
+
RYDN is currently in beta. Core riding and trainer connectivity work great, but some integrations are still being polished. If anything doesn't work with your setup, ping us at contact@rydn.io. We'll fix it fast. And if we can't make it work for you, you get your money back. No questions asked.
